It covers digital wedding invitations, RSVP by personal link or one QR code, an LKR budget tracker, seating chart and 3D floor plan, a wedding website and cash wedding gifts. Guests need no app, and RSVP pages work in English and Sinhala.

Who is behind WeddingWire.lk?

WeddingWire.lk is built and run in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and was established in 2026. Our Android app is published on Google Play under the developer name EventHub.lk.

Why we built a wedding planning app for Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan weddings are rarely one event. There is the poruwa ceremony, often a church service, the reception and the homecoming — each with its own guest list, venue and timings — and a family network that stretches from Colombo to Melbourne, London and the Gulf. Most couples hold it together with spreadsheets, notebooks and WhatsApp groups. WeddingWire.lk puts the guest list, RSVPs, budget, seating, invitations and gifts in one place, and gives every guest — including elders who prefer Sinhala — a simple page that opens on any phone.

How do you handle couples' and guests' data?

• Guest RSVP pages, entry passes and invitation links are never shown in search engines, and AI crawlers are blocked from them.
• Wedding websites are hidden from search engines unless the couple chooses to make theirs searchable.
• Card payments are handled by a licensed payment gateway; WeddingWire.lk never sees or stores card numbers.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time.
